Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how AdmitMock, operated by Trueplace Technologies Inc., collects, uses, and safeguards the personal information you share with us. It also explains the choices you have and how to contact us with any questions.

AdmitMock is not affiliated with Oxford, Cambridge or any other university.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, answer our onboarding questions, participate in mock interviews, or reach out to our team. This may include your name, contact details, whether you are applying or helping your child apply, where and what you are applying for, your interview date, and what worries you about the interview.

When you practise, we collect the content of your sessions, including your spoken answers, transcripts, and the scores and reports generated for you.

We also gather usage data about how you interact with AdmitMock, such as performance metrics and device information.

In particular, depending on how you use AdmitMock, this includes:

  • Payment information: we do not receive your card details. Payments are handled by Stripe. AdmitMock is currently in test mode, so checkout runs in Stripe's test mode and no real payment is taken.
  • Audio: your spoken answers during practice interviews.
  • Coarse location: your time zone, to show prices in pounds or dollars. We do not collect your precise location.
  • Diagnostics: crash reports and performance data.

How we use information

  • Deliver and personalize AI interview practice, plans, and feedback.
  • Process billing, send transactional emails, and respond to support requests.
  • Monitor performance, maintain security, and prevent misuse of the platform.
  • Research, develop, and improve our products, services, and technologies, including AI and machine learning models.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers that help us operate AdmitMock: cloud hosting and databases, sign-in and account security (Clerk), real-time voice for interviews, AI model providers that run the interviewer and generate feedback, payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and product analytics. They process information on our behalf and only for these purposes.

We also share information when required by law or to protect our users and our rights, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

How long we keep information

We keep your account information and your practice sessions, including recordings, transcripts, scores and reports, for as long as your account is open so you can review your progress. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete this data within 30 days, except for records we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons, such as payment records.

Your choices

You can update your profile information, download practice history, or close your account at any time by contacting us. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link, and you may disable optional analytics cookies in your browser settings. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by emailing us at hello@confetto.ai.

If you have questions about this policy or need to exercise your privacy rights, email us at hello@confetto.ai. We respond to all requests and will work with you to resolve any concerns.
